Abstract
Time-resolved laser spectroscopy and established x-ray methods have recently been
combined to probe the local electronic바카라 조작and바카라 조작molecular바카라 조작structure바카라 조작with바카라 조작femtosecond
x-ray pulses in time and energy. In the바카라 조작soft x-ray바카라 조작range,바카라 조작core-level바카라 조작transition바카라 조작are
particularly sensitive to valence-charge distributions and to chemical coordination of
and structure around바카라 조작lighter바카라 조작elements (C, N, O etc.)바카라 조작that바카라 조작are바카라 조작biologically바카라 조작relevant,
holding tremendous potential for following chemical bonding and the formation of new
molecular species in real time. This is particularly powerful for understanding molecular
dynamics in solution, where important chemistry occurs. We study the바카라 조작ultrafast바카라 조작spin
cross-over바카라 조작reaction바카라 조작in바카라 조작a바카라 조작solvated바카라 조작iron(II)바카라 조작complex바카라 조작by바카라 조작femtosecond바카라 조작soft x-ray
spectroscopy of the iron L-edges. Our recent바카라 조작results바카라 조작in바카라 조작combination바카라 조작with바카라 조작charge
transfer multiplet calculations reveal a wealth of information on바카라 조작the바카라 조작changes바카라 조작of바카라 조작the
electronic valence charge distributions, including바카라 조작changes바카라 조작in바카라 조작ligand-field바카라 조작splitting,
orbital delocalization and population, and the influence of ligand π-backbonding on
ultrafast timescales.
